Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) and Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC)

ARE YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW:

- coming to Mass but never made the "jump" to join the Catholic church?
- thinking of becoming Catholic but weren't sure what to do?
- feel God leading you to become Catholic?
- curious and want to know more about the Catholic faith?
- a Baptized Catholic Adult but have not received the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
- a Baptized Catholic Child but have not received the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and/or Confirmation. (there will be a separate program for those ages 8 through 17.)

Then "COME AND SEE" what following Christ in the Catholic tradition is all about!! St. Joseph's RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) and RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) might just be what you are looking for. We will have an informational meeting that will discuss what is involved and answer any (and hopefully all) questions that you may have to determine if this might be the next step in your relationship with Christ. No expectations, just a simple time to explore, ask and discern. So "COME AND SEE".

WHEN: Sunday, September 25 after the 8:45 am and 10:30 am Masses.

WHO: YOU!!

WHERE: The Church Hall

WHAT: Question and Answers about becoming Catholic and the RCIA or RCIC program

WHY: Because being Catholic rocks! (And the Holy Spirit is tugging at you to do it!)

If you are unable to attend the meeting, but still interested in finding our more, please contact Deacon Frank Kozar at 630.964.0216 X 1107, email fkozar@stjosephdg.org or Fr. John Lindsey at ext. 1207, email frjohn@stjosephdg.org.
