Marriage
Preparation
|
|
As part of the requirements
when being married at St. Joseph Parish, engaged couples meet with
one of the ten married couples from the parish who has volunteered
to mentor engaged couples. The purpose is to help them prepare for
the sacrament of marriage and help them enter into the commitment
with realistic expectations. This does not replace the counseling
with a priest, but offers the engaged couples additional resource
people who have experienced many of the challenges and blessings that
they will meet in married life.
