Parish Life
The goal of the Parish Life Commission, in accordance with our Parish Mission and Vision Statements, is to enhance parish family experiences while offering a variety of social and spiritual ministries intended to provide direction in our walk with Christ. With prayer, fellowship, and understanding the Parish Life Commission works with parishioners, parish staff and various ministries to bring strength, comfort and love to the parish family to assist them in all areas of life as we grow together in faith. The Parish Life Commission is currently involved with the following groups:

Council of Catholic Women, Pat Lord, President
Marriage Preparation, chaired by Sue and Vince Barrett
Marriage Enrichment, chaired by Frank Kozar
Baptism Ministry, headed by Frank Kozar
Parish Block Party, chaired by Burt Yeo
Small Christian communities
Marriage Preparation
As part of the requirements when being married at St. Joseph Parish, engaged couples meet with one of the ten married couples from the parish who has volunteered to mentor engaged couples. The purpose is to help them prepare for the sacrament of marriage and help them enter into the commitment with realistic expectations. This does not replace the counseling with a priest, but offers the engaged couples additional resource people who have experienced many of the challenges and blessings that they will meet in married life.
Marriage Enrichment
This ministry provides spiritual and social growth for married couples. Programs TBA.

Council of Catholic Women
The purpose of CCW is to support, empower, and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service. The programs respond with gospel values to the needs of the church in society in the modern world. A senior citizen hot lunch program, multiple blood drives, educational seminars, a craft club, nursing home parties, and parochial school hot lunches are all representative of the St. Joseph Council of Catholic Women's response to those needs.
