Choristers

Become a part of the Music Ministry!

Our parish's two Sunday morning choirs are starting up again after their summer break. The choirs' main mission is to support the assembly's song of praise at Sunday liturgy. While striving to serve the faith community at prayer, members not only make incredible music but also grow together as musicians, friends, and most importantly, disciples of the Lord.

St. Joseph Choir

rehearse on Tuesday evenings, beginning September 13, from 7:30 to 9:30. The Choir serves as the music ministers for the Sunday 10:30 liturgy.

St. Joseph Singers and Musicians

rehearse on Wednesday evenings (this evening has been changed from previous years), beginning September 14, from 7:30 to 9:30. The Singers and Musicians serve as the music ministers for the Sunday 8:45 liturgy.

The 8:45 Singers and Musicians are also looking for a "confident" bass player to add a solid foundation alongside the other instrumentalists. (This person would not need to attend regular reheasals.) The bass player will also be incorporated into the liturgies when both the 8:45 and 10:30 choirs combine for holy days.

The parish children’s choir, The Choristers, is open to children in grades four through eight, who sing for several liturgies throughout the year. Rehearsal will begin October 14th. Participants may register by Monday, October 13th. See the registration form.

REHEARSALS
Rehearsals are held on the following Tuesdays from 4:30 – 5:15 in the Church.
October 14, 21, and 28
November 4, 11, 18, and 25
December 2, 9, and 16
February 3, 17, and 24

LITURGIES
The Choristers will sing for Mass on the following Sundays. Please note the Mass time as well as the arrival time for warm up!

November 28:45 a.m. Arrive at 8:15 a.m. for warm up in Church!
The Choristers will be joining the 8:45 choir on this day.
 
December 710:30 a.m.  Arrive at 10:00 for warm up in Church!
The Choristers will be singing with the 10:30 choir on this day.
 
December 24  4:00 p.m.  Arrive at 3:00 for warm up in Church!
 
March 28:45 a.m.Arrive at 8:15 a.m. for warm up in Church!
The Choristers will be singing with the 8:45 choir on this day.
