Rev. Jerome T. Kish, Pastor

Fr. Jerome T. Kish received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1987 from the University of Illinois in Champaign. He went on to receive his M.S. in 1990 and Ph.D. in 1995 in the same field from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His priestly studies were accomplished at Mundelein Seminary, and he was ordained a priest for the Joliet Diocese by Bishop Imesch on June 6, 1998. Fr. Kish's first assignment was as a Parochial Vicar at St. Joseph's in Downers Grove. He was transferred to SS. Peter and Paul, Fr. Kish instituted a monthly "Afternoon of Recollection for Women" and an "Evening of Recollection for Men" as well as "Children's Eucharistic Adoration". He also taught 8th Grade Religion Class in SS Peter and Paul School. The people of SS Peter and Paul will miss his gentle counsel and holy presence.
