Do You Know Jesus? Do You Know Jesus? 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time In the Gospel reading Jesus tells the parable of uprooting a tree
and planting it in the ocean. The message in this parable is not about
transplanting a tree from soil to the ocean but about how having faith
in God changes our lives for the better. There is a saying that "faith
can move mountains." IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING UNIFORMS FROM

this is a dress up day.

St. Joseph School welcomes Mrs. Rita Stasi as their new Principal. She comes to St. Joseph from the Chicago Public School System where she was principal for seven years. Previously, she was a teacher and worked in special education in the same school. Mrs. Stasi has a couple of unique ties to St. Joseph School. First, while members of Divine Savior Church, her two boys attended St. Joseph. Secondly, over the past couple of years, it was to 'her' school that St. Joseph School donated coats which were collected by our eighth grade students and parents. Mrs. Stasi received her Teaching Degree from Mundelein College, and
went on to finish her Master of Arts in English at DePaul University.
Continuing her education, she received a Masters in Educational Administration
at Governors State University, and is certified in
NEW Underwear, undershirts
and socks for children and adults will be collected in the School Hall
until Wednesday October 10th.It will be distributed to Catholic Charities
clients. All sizes are needed!(especially Adult XXL Sizes) More information,
