Fathers and Daughters, Mothers and Sons,
A winter wonderland or an all-star night,
Eating and drinking
Dancing and playing
Each year we create a new memory of fun.

New Board Members!

We are sad to have our current board members retire but are excited about our incoming members. First, we want to say THANK YOU to Marybeth Giuffre and Marie Fitzgerald, our co-Presidents, for a smooth, organized year full of laughs. We also want to say THANK YOU to Leticia Pedraza, our Treasurer, for handling the crazy money flow back and forth, keeping us straight, and for all the fun. You will all be missed.

However, some wonderful new faces will take over. We are excited to announce our new co-Vice-Presidents Laura Freeman and Noreen Woods and our new Treasurer Carol Malone. Kim Dietrich and Amy Kovarik, current co-VPs, will take over as co-Presidents. We are looking forward to another fun year where we can enrich our children.

A giant thank you to our volunteers!

We want to say thank you to the current committee chair people for the incredible efforts this past year. The Father-Daughter and Mother-Son Dances are just two of many wonderful events and treats you give our children each year. We know the time commitment and sacrifices that come with leading a group can be challenging on both you and your family. We thank you for this gift.

Joins Us! We want to say a proper thank-you to chair people and all of the volunteers that helped on any Parent Forum  event or project this year by celebrating with a coffee after the Tuesday school mass on May 30th. Please join us if you can.

Volunteers Needed:

We are in the process of identifying the open committee chairs. Please give some thought to whether you could take over a committee. The co-chair works very well, making the work more collaborative and lessens your load, so ask a friend!

Each current chairperson has a “guidebook” full of everything you need for his/her event/position that is passed on to you. Opportunities are available for dads and moms. A list of committee chairs is available here. We know we want new chair people for the following:

Special Lunch Co-chair – Nancy Gelwicks is looking to train a person who could take over the chairperson position for the Special Lunch program after her daughter graduates next year. She would be happy to start showing you the ropes this year and carry into next year to make the transition smooth. She has this program down to a science so it will be easy to follow her lead! If interested, please contact Nancy.

Pizza Lunch Chair – this person plans and oversees the Friday pizza lunches, handles the pizza punch cards and schedules the volunteers who help on Fridays. This position can be co-chaired also. Kim Dietrich is happy to discuss this position with you. With her punch cards in place and established pizza provider, it is easy to step into this spot!

Christmas Program Chair – we are looking for someone to oversee the Christmas Program. This position could easily have subcommittees for tickets, programs, stage set-up/take-down and show control. Please contact Cathy Metzler. She is happy to go over the items we cover and how to make it easy.
