Diane Carbone

Mrs. Carbone is in her 14th year at St. Joseph School. She teaches fourth and fifth graders in Reading and Language Arts along with various homeroom classes. Prior to St. Joseph School, Mrs. Carbone
worked as a technical editor/liaison for a consulting engineering firm. She attended Western Illinois University, where she received her BA.

Her interests include gardening and spending time with family. In the classroom, she knows that humor goes a long way! She tries to instill in her students the understanding that what they learn in the
classroom relates to the outside world. She gives them an understanding of how it will benefit them later in life. Mrs. Carbone is a part of a very supporting faculty, and finds the community atmosphere at St. Joseph to be an enjoyable one.
