Mrs. DiMare has been with St. Joseph School's K-Club since 2000. Beginning as a volunteer three days per week while her daughter attended our St. Joseph Kindergarten, she grew to love the experience. Then in 2004, when the opportunity arose for her to become our K-Club Director, she jumped at the opportunity.
Working with our kindergartners in a playful role, she's experienced the wonders of the world all over again as everyday they create an atmosphere of imagination and wonder. Mrs. DiMare blends beautifully with the staff at St. Joseph as she shares her time with our younger students. Every chance they get, our K-Club is off to local parks, to the library or off to town for a snack.
K-Club is great for both working and non-working parents. Offering flexible hours, the club provides great opportunity for socialization with other kindergartners in both a.m. and p.m. classes as well as preparing our kindergartners for a full-day schedule. "Parents can relax and have fun. Whether they need an extra hour for errands or a full-day of care, their children are in one of the most affordable programs with a wonderful and safe environment run by our teaching staff."
In addition to K-Club, Mrs. DiMare works with our Extended Care Program where she finds opportunity to keep in touch with past K-Club members. She watches the development of her K-Clubbers as they come back to visit. "They often stop by to give a hug. They make me smile every day I come in. They bring such happiness."
