Rita Stasi, Principal

Mrs. Rita Stasi joined St. Joseph School as Principal in 2007. She came to St. Joseph from the Chicago Public School System where she was principal for seven years. Previously, she was a teacher and worked in special education in the same school.

Mrs. Stasi has a couple of unique ties to St. Joseph School. First, while a member of Divine Savior Church, her two boys attended St. Joseph. Secondly, over the past couple of years, it was to 'her' Chicago Public school that St. Joseph School donated coats which were collected by our eighth grade students and parents.

Mrs. Stasi received her Teaching Degree from Mundelein College, and went on to finish her Master of Arts in English at DePaul University. Continuing her education, she received a Masters in Educational Administration at Governors State University, and is certified in Special Education.

St. Joseph School is blessed to have Mrs. Stasi as Principal. Former Principal, Sr. Dorothy Randall, CSJ has taken on the position of President of St. Joseph School.
