Extracurricular ActivitiesExtracurricular activities make a school come alive. St. Joseph School offers a wealth of activites and events that allow students to display their talents and skills outside the academic arena. Student Council provides leadership opportunities for students and volunteer service to the school community. Sports, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Band, School Choir and Altar Servers round out the offerings. All contribute to make St. Joseph School an exciting place to learn, worship and participate. In addition to these activities, our seventh and eighth graders prepare for Confirmation through their service hours. As they play bingo with senior citizens, make applesauce for the sick and hungry or clean the church in preparation for the coming of Christ at Christmas and Easter, these students are often surprised at the feeling of warmth and fellowship they receive by helping others that are less fortunate.
