Church Air-conditioning Replacement $320,000
As you may know, over recent years we have experienced numerous problems with our 31-year-old HVAC system in the church. The last major issue was this past and very hot Easter Sunday, when 2 of the 5 air conditioning units crashed leaving us with limited air conditioning. Needed repairs were made, but given the original system was installed in 1992, most of the equipment is at or far beyond its expected life. The increasing costs to maintain, its reduced efficiency, and the difficulty to find and purchase replacement parts, if even available, have led us to conclude we are in need of a new system.
Air conditioning is no longer considered a luxury - it is a necessity! For this reason I come to you, our faithful, faith-filled parishioners to help me in meeting this challenge.
I find asking for money one of the most difficult duties of my priesthood, but I have no other choice. With the current estimate of $320,000, we have chosen Giving Tuesday to raise the needed funds to ensure we can enjoy reliable, energy-efficient comfort for many years into the future! I am most grateful for whatever you can do to help defray this extraordinary expense. Please be assured of my prayers for your sacrifice.
Sincerely in Christ,
