If unborn children could speak, wouldn't they say, "Let me be born. Let me walk, learn, dance and sing. Let me love God, pray, and make my contributin to the world. Let me fall in love, and know truth, beauty and goodness." Wouldn't they say all of these things? Wouldn't they?

Estimated loss of life in 2023 at Access 2,702 as of Sept. 30th
A faithful friend of 40 Days for Life, decided to do that this past week.
Even though she already had fulfilled her commitment to Access earlier in the week, she was prompted to fill a need and pray for an additional hour.
And in that hour, God used her and other faithful counselors and pray-ers to help a couple decide to give life to their unborn child, adding him or her to the other 4 they’d left home in Tennessee.
Later, after starting on their long way home, the pray-er who connected with the couple received this text from the mom:
Thank you so much, J. You helped me. I needed that. I didn’t go on with it.
We talked about it and I decided to keep it (the baby).
Pray-er’s response to mom’s text:
God put me there for you today. It is all goodness from God.
Could God be inviting you to be part of saving one of His own eternal lives?
Your one hour might change the world forever.

May God richly bless you!
Thank you for all your prayers today for the women going into Access. God saved a baby today - praise the Lord!
About five women went in before noon. One couple stopped to talk, an African American man, James, and his Hispanic wife, Alexis. Thank you for suggesting the "What time is your appointment?" question, Joe - they stopped to talk when asked this!
James clearly did not want his wife to have an abortion. He told me they already had four children, and Alexis was ready to begin a career. Both looked sad and uncertain. I told him that they would love their fifth child just as much as their other four, and that there is much aid available. Alexis decided to go in. One of the sidewalk counselors, R., was able to call out some encouraging words in Spanish, such as Jesus loves both her and her baby, and her baby loves her already. James parked in front of Lovers' Lane, and he was very open to talking. He said that he is a Christian, but that since she was the one who is carrying the baby, he couldn't make the final decision.
I asked if he would mind if we prayed, and we asked the Holy Spirit to work inside Alexis's heart. Immediately after we finished praying, James received a call from Alexis. She had decided not to have the abortion! I told him that by tonight there could be a hundred people praying for them! I'm not sure how many we have now in our group, but please feel free to ask other prayer partners to pray for them. They will need support to stay firm in their decision to keep their baby. I gave James my phone number and asked him to call if they needed help. Let's see if we can have a hundred people praying for them!
It is amazing how God brings all the pieces together to reach one couple: Gene covering the driveway, Joe's good advice, a woman who could speak Spanish, Sarah and all the prayer warriors on the sidewalk, and ultimately, God working inside Alexis's heart beyond anything that we could ever do!
Thank you for all who were praying at home and for all who came out to pray! Sarah, one of the prayer warriors at Access today, said that she had heard that we should "pray these women off the table," as there is always hope for women to make decisions for life even at the last moment. Thank you, Terry, Gene, Bill, Mike, R., Joe, Gary, Joann, Sarah, and everyone who came out today. Please continue to pray for James and Alexis, that they would stay firm in their decision not to have an abortion.
P.S. The abortionist was there today along with five other workers, and since the clients were staying two hours, it looks like they may be doing both surgical and chemical abortions on Fridays now on a regular basis. Please add more if you were in the afternoon crew today. May the Lord protect everyone who is coming out tomorrow!
Dear Faithful Friends,
I just wanted to share this beautiful story of baby W. who was born in August of 2022.
Months before, the mother & father had come to the Access abortion clinic in Downers Grove. They had come to abort baby W. They were from Africa and spoke French. It just so happened that the ‘sidewalk counselor’ who was there that day was also from Africa and also spoke French!
God’s providence is so amazing!
The counselor spoke to them about the special life of this baby & how help was available to them. The couple ended up choosing LIFE for their baby and kept in touch with the sidewalk counselor. Wendy was born & we all rejoiced! Praise God for such a beautiful little girl!
As usual, all of the counselors & prayer volunteers sent baby gifts to help the parents.
I just had to share this beautiful story of just one of the 40 confirmed saves at Access Abortion clinic in 2022! To God be the Glory!
